In 2005 we had a real problem with noise level in our call center. We thought we might have to go to the expense of constructing high panels to reduce the background sound that was creating problems for our callers. New Vision provided samples of new noise-canceling headsets and our call supervisors tested them in the loudest areas. Utilizing our call recording & monitoring solution we found that the calls were clearer and the background noise was eliminated. We traded in all of our headsets and switched to Plantronics. We saved the expense of construction and experienced no downtime. Since then we have continued to rely on New Vision for guidance and product support. They always respond quickly and provide very competitive pricing.

In 2009 we announced that we would be the first health insurer in the state of Pennsylvania to open a health insurance retail store. To better serve the Pennsylvania individuals and seniors in need of health insurance, Highmark selected Polycom VSX3000 as a key tool to support the success of this initiative. The product is so easy to use and met all of our goals that we have installed additional units in our corporate employee health centers. Polycom video conferencing is sure to be included when we add additional stores and New Vision Partners our vendor of choice.

A recent initiative for the Network Services Group was to improve the acquisition process for our workgroups by giving them the freedom to directly requisition business tools. We redesigned our internal documentation so that Highmark team members could easily be guided to identify the approved headset that would meet their needs and be compatible with their telephone. Team leads attended training sessions at key sites and the new process live went live without a hitch! We appreciate the assistance provided by New Vision Partners during the development phase and their participation in our training sessions. I never hesitate to call with questions and know that I will receive a timely response.

Back in 2000, when Purity Organic purchased its first wireless headset from New Vision, there were only six of us in the office. Over the years we have moved to larger quarters, and added staff and remote offices. Whenever a new team member is added, we call or email New Vision and say “Another Headset.” Two days later we have the product. If we’re not sure what to choose, we call Sheila and she helps us decide. When remote staff had a problem hearing clearly on our conference calls, she assessed the situation and sent us a SoundStation to try and it was perfect!
